The GRiT Adventure Gravel Ride in the Teanaway on June 24, 2023 is canceled. Learn more about the change in our plans here.

Join us for informal rides this Summer

Our Grit Adventure Gravel event might be canceled, but we aren’t done having fun!

We have two informal rides planned and would love to ride with you.

Teanaway – June 24 – two rides starting and finishing at Dru Bru in Cle Elum

Snoqualmie Pass – July 29 – three rides starting and finishing at Summit at Snoqualmie. More info here.

Snoqualmie Pass – July 29

We are working towards a new gravel event at Snoqualmie Pass next summer.  On July 29, 2023 we will do a course preview as a self-supported ride. This is the first annual GRaSP (Gravel Ride aSnoqualmie Pass) Ride. GRaSP captures the spirit of GRiT and brings it to a new awesome zone. The rough plan is to get together around 8:30am at Laconia Market (near Summit West) for coffee and snacks, then roll out around 9am. Post-ride beverages and food available at Dru Bru or Laconia Market.

Lots more about GRaSP ’23 including courses to download here.

Teanaway – June 24

Join us on June 24 for an informal ride through the Teanaway.

The Off Camber crew will be in Cle Elum on Saturday, June 24 to spend the day riding in/around the Teanaway.  No, this isn’t an “unofficial” GRiT so plan on self-supporting. The only thing planned is to grab some post ride beverages at Dru Bru around 2-3pm.  Please feel free to join us!

  • We will be starting at Dru Bru in Cle Elum. Start whenever you’d like and go at your own pace. Some of us will be starting at around 9am.
  • Plan your ride departure to meet at 2-3pm for post-ride beverages and pizza at Dru Bru in Cle Elum.
  • This is an informal, unsupported event. We do not have a permit and so you are on your own for this ride. No timing or registration, no aid stations or course markings… just fun in the Teanaway.
  • Our team is going to do two different routes – see below

Teanaway gravel ride options

A shorter option is 36 miles with 4,100 feet of elevation gain. This ride will likely take 3 hours to 5 1/2 hours to complete

Shorter course map is here: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/43209453 –

A longer gravel ride is 43 miles with 5,300 feet of elevation gain. This ride will take 3 1/2 hours to 6 1/2 hours to complete.

Longer course map is here: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/43209378

There is amazing mountain biking in Roslyn, fun pavement to explore in the upper county, and cool rock features to see in the Teanaway. Plan your own adventure and meet us at Dru Bru after.

One note, the “Rye Creek” section from last year’s event is reported to have lots of downed trees and requires significant hiking.
