THE Grit Adventure GraveL Ride
June 24, 2023
An adventure gravel ride in Cle Elum, Washington, exploring the Teanaway Wilderness.
Registration for the 2023 event is currently full.
We have limited the number of registrations to 300, as our permit last year only allowed 300 riders. We are working to expand the permit for this year’s event and will increase the number of registrants if we are able to do so. If you are not yet registered, but would like to participate, please join the waitlist. We will inform you if we increase our permit.
The Second Annual GRiT Teanaway Epic.
The GRiT Teanaway Epic will take your breath away as you explore remote forest roads & singletrack in the Teanaway Wilderness.
Gravel riding meet mountain biking–this is what we call Adventure Gravel. Brutal climbs, tough descents, a bit of single track on a hearty mix of surfaces where your biggest decision is whether to ride your gravel bike on this beast or your hard-tail mountain bike.
We’re not sure if The GRiT is the Leadville of Gravel or the Unbound of mountain biking. One thing we are sure of is that it’s pure Pacific Northwest badass and will make you question why you signed up.
Ever heard of the Teanaway? We’ll take you through this pristine Pacific Northwest jewel where you’ll want to stop at every viewpoint to take it all in.
Our brand-new course wowed riders last year in this awesome wilderness where you won’t see anyone except your fellow riders, and perhaps you’ll bump into Sasquatch.
“Just a quick note to thank you and the team that put together the Grit routes. I rode the L course yesterday and it was among the best I’ve ever ridden. I’ve been letting everyone know how much I like it. Cheers!”Local rider Nikos Mills
The ride starts and finishes at the Dru Bru brewery in Cle Elum, where you’ll find free beer at the finish to help numb the pain.
Plan to stay for the whole weekend. You can camp or stay nearby–there are lots of local lodging, food, and shopping options in Cle Elum, Roslyn or Suncadia.
Come join us for The GRiT on June 24 and do some soul searching in the heart of the Cascade mountains.
